Exam Date for Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2023 announced
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has announced the exam date for Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2023. As per the notification, the JAM 2023 exam will be conducted on February 12, 2022. The online application window for the registration will be opened on September 7, 2022. The last date to submit the online application is October 11, 2022.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for JAM 2023 through its official website at jam.iitg.ac.in
The JAM 2023 results will be declared on March 22, 2023, and the online counselling process for JAM eligible students will take place between April 11 and 25, 2022.
The entrance exam is held through computer-based mode for a duration of 180 minutes. The examination will be conducted for Seven different subjects: Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA), Physics (PH). Candidates can appear for either ONE or TWO test papers.
The examination will be Fully objective type, with three types of questions: (i) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), (ii) Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and (iii) Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
JAM 2023 scores are likely to be used for admissions to MSc, joint PhD, and other programmes offered by around 30 CFTIs including NITs, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER, IIPE, JNCASR, SLIET for over 2300 seats for the academic year 2023-24.
