IGNOU launches Four new M.Sc. Program for July 2023 session

 

IGNOU School of Science launches four Master of Science (MSc) Programs from July 2023 Session

 
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched four Master of Science (MSc) programs through online distance learning (ODL) mode for the July 2023 session. As per the notification, MSc Physics (MSCPH), MSc Applied Statistics (MSCAST), MSc Geography (MSCGG) and MSc Geo-informatics (MSCGI). All these courses are for a duration of two years. 
 
Candidates those who are interested to apply for these courses can register themselves at at the official website— ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
 
Eligibility criteria for admission into these programs is as follows – 
 
M.Sc. Applied Statistics (MSCAST)

  • Graduate with B.A./B.Sc degree with Statistics/Mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognised University/ Institution/ Organisation

MSc Physics (MSCPH)

  • Graduates with Major/Honours in Physics, OR
  • Graduates with a B.Sc. Degree (including IGNOU B.Sc. Programme under CBCS) with Physics and Mathematics, OR
  • Graduates with a B.Sc. Degree of IGNOU or any recognized Open University with a minimum of 32 Credits of Physics, and Mathematics as one of the subjects

MSc Geography (MSCGG)

  • Graduate in any Stream

MSc Geo-informatics (MSCGI)

  • Graduate in Science/Engineering/Architecture/ Planning/ Computer Application/ Information Technology from a recognised University or Master of Arts in Geography from a recognised University

 

Meanwhile, the varsity has also extended the application deadline for Fresh Admission for July 2023 Session for all programs offered through Online and ODL mode till July 15, 2023
