The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched an Undergraduate Program (Bachelors in Social Work) in online mode for the January 2022 Session. As per the Vice Chancellor of IGNOU, this program will be in accordance with the country’s New Education Policy (NEP-2020) guidelines.
Students interested to pursue Bachelors program in Social Work from IGNOU can register for admission at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Candidates who have cleared their 10+2 are eligible to apply for the same.
The program is aimed towards people who are interested in providing professional assistance to people in need. Graduates of this course would get an opportunity to work in socially relevant areas such as healthcare, community development, education, industry, counseling, family, correctional setting, social defense, women and children, etc.
Recently, IGNOU has once again extended the re-registration deadline for the January 2022 session. According to the latest notification, candidates can re0-register themselves for January 2022 session till January 31, 2022
