Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2022 Postponed
GECT 2022 – The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa has postponed the exam dates for Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2022. As per the notification released, the exam will now be conducted on June 27 and 28, 2022. Earlier the examination was scheduled to be conducted on May 11 and 12, 2022.
The official notification released by DTE reads, “GCET 2022 earlier schedule to be conducted on May 11 and 12, 2022 is deferred and shall be conducted on June 27 and 28, 2022”.
DTE, Goa has also stated that these Exam Dates are not final and will be confirmed once more 10 days before the scheduling of the Goa Common Entrance Test, 2022.
Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is a state level entrance exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa for admission to undergraduate (UG) engineering and pharmacy courses in Goa. Students who qualify the GCET 2022 exam will have to participate in counselling and seat allotment for admission.
Applicants will appear for separate papers of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Candidates seeking admission into BTech courses must appear for all papers and candidates seeking admission into BPharm courses do not require sitting for Mathematics paper.
Goa Common Entrance Test paper will be based on class 12 syllabus issued by Goa state education board.
