GATE 2024 Registrations Process – Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru will be concluding the online registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 soon. All interested and eligible candidates can apply for GATE 2024 on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in. on or before September 29, 2023 and the extended period will end on October 13, 202. Applicants will be able to make corrections and changes in their online application forms between November 7 to 11, 2023. The admit card for the same will be available on January 3, 2024.
The GATE 2024 exam is slated to be conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024 in two shifts on each day – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Steps to Register for GATE 2024
- Visit the official website: gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
- Click on registration link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and login to the account.
- Once done, click on submit.
- Fill in the application form and make the payment of application fees.
- Click on submit and download the confirmation page.
Candidates are required to pay the application fee for Rs 1800 (per paper). Female candidates, and candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories need to pay Rs 900 (per paper) as the application fee.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level exam that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts. New test paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) has been introduced. GATE 2024 will be conducted for 30 test papers comprising full papers and sectional papers. Candidates have the option to appear for one or two test papers from the allowed two-paper combinations.
A candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program OR has already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts is eligible for appearing in the GATE 2024 exam.
