Registration Date for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 postponed
Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru has postponed the registration date of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. The registration process is now expected to begin on August 30, 2023. Candidates can apply for the examination through the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
Earlier, the registration process for GATE 2024 was scheduled to begin on August 24, 2023. The last date to apply is September 29, 2023 and the extended period will end on October 13, 2023. Applicants will be able to make corrections and changes in their online application forms between November 7 to 11, 2023. The admit card for the same will be available on January 3, 2024 and the examination will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024 in two shifts on each day – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
How to apply for GATE 2024
- Visit the official website: gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
- Click on the registration link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and login to the account.
- Once done, click on submit.
- Fill in the application form and make the payment of application fees.
- Click on submit and download the confirmation page.
The entrance exam is held through computer-based mode for a duration of 180 minutes. New test paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) has been introduced. GATE 2024 will be conducted for 30 test papers comprising full papers and sectional papers. Candidates have the option to appear for one or two test papers from the allowed two-paper combinations
