Exam Date for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 announced
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has announced the exam date for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. As per the notification, GATE 2024 exam will be held on February 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th. The online application window for the GATE 2024 registration will be opened on August 24, 2024.
The last date to submit the application form is September 29, 2023. and with late fee till October 13, 2023. Applicants will be able to make corrections and changes in their online application forms between November 7 to 11, 2023
The entrance exam is held through computer-based mode for a duration of 180 minutes. New test paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) has been introduced. GATE 2024 will be conducted for 30 test papers comprising full papers and sectional papers. Candidates have the option to appear for one or two test papers from the allowed two-paper combinations.
The GATE score obtained by the candidates will remain valid for a period of three years from the date of announcement of results.
GATE exam is held by IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore on a rotational basis for admission to the M.Tech courses across all government & private engineering colleges, including IITs, NITs, CFTIs. Many PSUs also consider the GATE score for recruitment.
