Exam Date of CSIR UGC NET 2019 postponed for the North Eastern States 

CSIR-UGC NET 2019 Exam for Assam, Meghalaya Postponed – National Testing Agency NTA released the notification about the Postponement of Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2019 examination in States of Assam and Meghalaya. As per the NTA sources, the decision was taken after taking into account the prevailing situation in the two states.

Meanwhile NTA conducted CSIR-UGC NET examination in computer-based mode on December 15, 2019 across the country for 05 subjects in two shifts.

 As per the date released by NTA, 2, 74,345 candidates registered for the exam. Out of total 1, 14,884 are male candidates 1, 59,447 are female candidates and 14 transgender candidates registered for the exam.

The revised date for CSIR UGC NET 2019 exam for state of Assam and Meghalaya has not been announced by NTA yet. Candidates from Assam and Meghalaya who have registered for the CSIR UGC Net 2019 examination are advised to regularly visit the website of NTA www.nta.ac.in and https://csirnet.nta.nic.in for further updates  about revised exam schedule for the Exam.
