COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2020 postponed, fresh dates to be announced later
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMDEK) have once again postponed the COMEDK UGET 2020 exam which was scheduled to be held on August 1, 2020, due to Covid-19 situation in the country. As per the notification by the consortium, the fresh date for examination will be announced in due course.
Earlier, the exam was scheduled to take place on May 10, 2020 but was postponed on many occasions due to Covid-19 Pandemic .The consortium has decided to shift the dates ahead again after looking at the prevailing situation in the country due to Covid-19.
As per the notification the Consortium has received a lot of representations from candidates that they will not be able to attend the examination due to the COVID-19 lockdown imposed in several parts of the country.
The notification reads, “This matter was discussed in detail and it has been decided that the health of the applicants is of the utmost importance and the same cannot be taken lightly.”
