Result for CBSE Class 12th Board Exam 2025 declared, check now
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the result for Class 12 Board Exam 2025 on its official websites. The Examination was conducted from February 15 to April 4, 2025, across 7,842 centers in India and abroad. The results of CBSE Class 12 Arts, Science and Commerce are now available on the official website of the Board – cbse.nic.in.
All those students who appeared for Class 12th Board exam 2025 can now check their result from the official website. Students need their roll numbers, school code and date of birth to check their results.
Approximately 17.88 lakh students registered for the examination. A total of 16,92,794 students appeared for the exams, out of which 14,96,307 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 88.39%. This reflects a slight increase from 2024, when the pass percentage stood at 87.98%. 1,11,544 students scored above 90%, accounting for 6.59% of all those who passed. Additionally, 24,867 candidates, or 1.47%, achieved scores above 95%. This year, 1,29,095 students were placed in the compartment category, representing 7.63% of the total — a slight increase from 2024, when 1,22,170 students (7.54%) were placed in the same category.
Southern India has emerged as the leading region with the highest pass percentage. Vijayawada topped all CBSE regions with an impressive pass percentage of 99.60%, closely followed by Trivandrum at 99.32%. Chennai recorded a pass rate of 97.39%, while Bengaluru and Delhi West reported 95.95% and 95.37%, respectively.

- Go to the official website: cbse.nic.in
- Click on the link, ‘CBSE Class 12 Result 2025
- Enter your roll number, school number and submit
- The results will be displayed on your screen
Students will be able to check their result from other digital platforms like-
- DigiLocker: Log in using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number to view and download your digital mark sheet.
- UMANG App: Available on Android and iOS, this app provides easy access to your result.
- SMS: Send an SMS in the format cbse12 <Roll Number> to 7738299899 to receive your result via text message .
- IVRS: Dial 24300699 followed by your area code to get your result over a voice call.
