Exam date for Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2021 rescheduled
Department of Education (Elementary), Government of Assam has rescheduled the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2021 for Lower Primary and Upper Primary level. As per the notification, the exam will now be held on October 31, 2021 instead of October 24, 2021. Candidates can check more details will be available on ssa.assam.gov.in.
The official notification reads, “The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Lower Primary and Upper Primary level- 2021 which was scheduled to be held on 24th October 2021 has been rescheduled to 31st October 2021.”
The Admit card for the Assam TET 2021 will be available on the official website soon.
The exam will be conducted for 150 minutes for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The question paper will be in languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, English languages. Candidates must score a minimum of 60 per cent (90 marks out of 150 total marks) to qualify for the examination. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and other reserved categories will be given a concession of 5 per cent marks as per government norms.
