AIIMS PG 2019 Postponed in Bhubaneswar

AIIMS PG 2019 postponed due to Cyclone Fani in Bhubaneswar  – A state of total commotion and ruckus has created by the ‘Cyclone Fani’ in the east coastal belt of the country. The properties got damaged, trees got uprooted and three people were killed by the ferocious cyclone fast moving towards the West Bengal. Thousands of people have been evacuated to the safe zone. Around 157 trains and several flights have also been cancelled due to this natural calamity.

 

The cyclone made landfall around 8:00 am in Puri, on May 3rd with enormous winds flattening the huts and submerging the homes in residential areas.

 

In the wake of ‘Cyclone Fani’, the AIIMS PG 2019 Exam in Bhubaneshwar has been cancelled till further notice.

 

Around 11 lakh people were evacuated to safe zone by the state administration.

The union health secretary Preeti Sudan said that, “, AIIMS Delhi has cancelled the exam in Bhubaneswar for AIIMS PG 2019.  He also said that another exam will be conducted for the students affected by this cancellation as soon as normalcy returns.”
