If you are an aspirant preparing for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), then this good news is for you. Let us tell you that All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has released the fresh prospectus for 2019 entrance exam which comprises all the details regarding AIIMS MBBS exam may it be exam pattern, seat reservation policy or entire admission procedure. Last year, there were 800 seats of MBBS in existing 9 AIIMS. Now, as 6 new AIIMS have joined the list, the number of seats has increased to 1200. According to the information from the latest release, 6 new branches of the AIIMS have been opened, including AIIMS Kalyani, Raebareli, Gorakhpur, Bathinda, Deogarh and Bibinagar. 300 seats will be allotted to the new institutes. However, 100 seats for under graduation are allotted to two existing AIIMS i.e. Nagpur and Guntur, allotting 50 seats each.

 

As per the reservation policy, 600 seats belong to unreserved categories, while 321 seats are for OBC and 180 & 96 seats for SC and ST categories respectively. Out of the total seats, 5% are reserved for PWD candidates. Also, the 7 seats of AIIMS Delhi, reserved for foreign candidates will not be filled on the basis of AIIMS MBBS exam. The youth looking to pursue medical studies have a golden opportunity to secure a seat by following a proper preparation strategy.

The basic registration for AIIMS MBBS entrance was done till 3rd Jan whereas, the aspirants can submit the final application from 21st Feb to 12th March, 2019. AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2019 which  is conducted by AIIMS, Delhi will be conducted on 25th and 26th May 2019. The results are expected in the month of June. So, the students should brace themselves completely and gear up the preparation to pursue medical studies in their dream institute.
