The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the notification to inform about the postponement of All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XVI 2021 exam. As per the notification released, the AIBE XVI examination has been postponed to April 25, 2021. The council has also extended the deadline for registration. Candidates can now apply for AIBE XVI 2021 till March 22, 2021. However, the last date for completion of the online form is March 31, 2021.
The revised schedule for the entrance examination is available on its official website. Earlier, the AIBE XVI was scheduled to be held on March 21, 2021
The statement flashing on the official website reads, “This is to inform all the candidates appearing for AIBE-XVI that the date for registration and last date of payment has been extended.”
The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is to examine an advocate’s capability to practice the profession of law in India. After passing the examination candidate will be awarded “Certificate of Practice” by the Bar Council of India
Recently, the Council has announced that the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is no longer an open book exam. No books, notes or study material will be allowed in the examination hall during AIBE XVI exam. Candidates can only carry Bare Acts without notes.
