Bachelors Degree without having passed Class 12

Many distance learning Universities including IGNOU and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University and a few other open Universities Offer a special course by the name of Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP). The Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme is launched for educating the adults deprived of 10+2 qualification and aspiring for further studies and Bachelor’s degrees like (B.A. and B.Com.).

IGNOU Website says that the Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) is offered by the University to those students who wish to do Bachelors Degree of IGNOU but do not have the essential qualification of having passed 10+2.

 

In absence of such a qualifying certificate, these students are deprived of higher education. To enable such students to enter higher education stream, IGNOU has designed this preparatory Programme. This is an enabling programme of the University but is not equivalent to 10+2.

Preparatory Course in Commerce

Preparatory course in General Mathematics

Preparatory course in Social Sciences

 

Course Fee for IGNOU Courses are as follows:

The Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme is in no way equivalent to 10+2 or any other examination. This is only the internal system of this university which prepares the persons who study deprived of any eligibility for admissions and who aspire to be graduated for further studies.
