| Assistant Engineer (Civil) | A Bachelor degree in civil engineering |
| A pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Civil Engineering Branch or Equivalent recognized by the UGC | |
| Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) | A degree in Mechanical/Production/ Industrial/ Manufacturing engineering |

Additional qualification
