Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Non-ITI: Candidate must have passed 10th class exam or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50 percent marks. Candidates should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification.
- For ITI: Candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 exam system) with minimum 50 percent marks, from a recognised Board and also must have passed ITI in the relevant trades.
Age Limit
- For Non ITI: Candidates should be between 15 to 22 years of age.
- For ITI: Candidates should be between 15 to 24 years of age.
Application Procedure
- The online application link is activated from 26th March 2022 on the official website blw.indianrailways.gov.in
- The interested and eligible candidates can apply online from the direct link provided below or from the official website. The last date to apply online is 26th April 2022.

- For Others: Rs.100/-
- For SC/ ST/ PWD/ Female Candidates: NIL
- Payment Mode: through Debit/ Credit Card or Internet Banking
Selection Process
- Apprentice in BLW will get selected based on the merit list of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Salary
- Selected candidates as Apprentice in BLW will receive Stipend as per Railway Board’s/ Labour Ministry instructions issued from time to time.
