OSSSC Recruitment 2019 – Apply  for 806 Forest Guard Posts

OSSSC Forest Guard Recruitment 2019 – Online applications are invited for recruitment of 806 posts of Forest Guards (on a contractual basis) lying vacancy in different districts under the Forest & Environment Department of Government of Odisha.
 
The division wise and category wise break-up of the total posts to be filled up by this recruitment and reservation for each category of candidates are at Annexure-I. The recruitment is being conducted according to Odisha Subordinate Forest Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of services of Forest Guards Rules 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for OSSSC Forest Guard Recruitment 2019

  • Education Qualification – The minimum qualification High School Certificate (10+) or equivalent Examination.

Age Limit

  • The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 year for the candidate belonging SC/ST/SEBC/Women category and by total period of service rendered in Defence service in case of Ex-servicemen.

Application Fee

  • Rs. 100/- for other candidates
  • No fee for SC/ST/PWD Category candidates

 

Selection Process

  • Final selection will be based on Physical standard measurement, physical efficiency test, sports achievements, NCC & Written test.

  • Application are invited online through the OSSSC website www.osssc.gov.in
  • All eligible persons who have not earlier resisted themselves for any previous recruitment of the commission have to register for the post by clicking on the button, Register on the Homepage of the Commission’s website www.osssc.gov.in’

Mode of Payment

  • Applicants other than SC, ST, PWD category have to pay exam fee of Rs. 100/-. The fee can be deposited through online mode by logging into the OSSSC website or by the conventional mode of deposit in any government treasury under head of account 0051-P.S.C.-104-UPSCE/SSC-Examination Fee-0047-Fees collected for conducting examination by OSSSE-02213.
