NLC Apprentice Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2022
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice: Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a Statutory University in a relevant discipline; Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in a relevant discipline; Graduate examination of Professional bodies (Full time) recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Diploma in Engineering or technology (Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Govt. in a relevant discipline; Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a University in a relevant discipline; Diploma in Engineering and Technology (Full time) granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Duration of Training
- Apprenticeship training will be for period of one-year as per Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973
Age Limit
- Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules
NLC Apprentice Recruitment Application Process 2022
- Candidates applying for Graduate & Technician Apprentices post through NLC Recruitment 2022 must register online on the official NLC website from February 01st, 2022 onwards, and closes on February 15, 2022 on NATS portal website as specified in NLC notification.

- Go to the official website nlcindia.com.
- Click “Career” select “Trainees & Apprentice” find the advertisement “(Advt. No.L&DC.03/2021) Engagement of Graduate and Technician Apprentices under Apprentices Act.”, click on the advertisement.
- Notification will open, read it and check Eligibility.
- To apply, enter your details correctly.
- Finally click submit button and take the print of the application form
Selection Procedure
- Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is entrusted with the task of preparation of a short list from the online application data. Short listing of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basis prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines
- Short listed candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id. Short listed candidates have to appear for certificate verification at Neyveli (or) Chennai
