SPA Delhi Admission Eligibility Criteria 2022

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor Programmes: Intermediate /10+2 with JEE (Main) 2022 by NTA (National Testing Agency) score.
  • M.Arch (Architectural Conservation & Urban Design): Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Planning from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Master of Design (Industrial Design): Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture of a recognized university or equivalent or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Design/Fine Arts of a recognized university or equivalent with valid CEED score (essential for non-architectural candidates) from approved streams.
  • Master of Building Engineering & Management: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Engineering or Architecture or Architectural Engineering or Building Science or Five Year Diploma in Construction Technology or equivalent from a recognized university/institution established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature.
  • Master of Architecture (Landscape Architecture): Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture or Planning or Master’s Degree in Planning or equivalent post-Graduate diploma of a recognized university/institution or certificate of completion of Pre-Landscape Architecture Course of the SPA, New Delhi.
  • Master of Planning (Environmental Planning): Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Master’s Degree in Geography or Economics or Sociology or Environmental Science or Environmental Management of a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Master of Planning (Housing): Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Master’s Degree in Geography or Economics or Sociology or Environmental Science or Environmental Management of a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Master of Planning (Regional Planning & Urban Planning): Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or M.A. Geography, Economics, or Sociology from a recognized university or equivalent. 
  • Master of Planning (Transport Planning): Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent or Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Operational Research/ Economics from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • PhD Programs: Master’s Degree in r Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or Environmental Engineering/ Statistics/ Operational Research/ Economics from a recognized university or equivalent.

 

SPA Delhi Admission Application Process 2022

    • Eligible candidates can apply online only through the official website http://spa.ac.in/
  • Eligible candidates may submit a filled-in Application Form through a link provided on School’s website www.spa.ac.in along with requisite self-attested documents at [email protected].
  • Candidates seeking admission are required to submit an online application. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria.

 

Application Fee

  • For Indian Nationals: Rs.2500/- (Non-refundable)
  • For Foreign National/NRI/PIO/OCI: US$ 300 (Non-Refundable)
  • Modes of Payment: through Online mode

 

Selection Process 

  • Bachelor Programs: Admission to Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning will be made through JEE (Main) 2022 by NTA (National Testing Agency)
  • Integrated Master of Planning: Students (15 seats) admitted to the Bachelor of Planning programme of the School can opt for 5 year Integrated Masters of Planning Programme after VII semester subject to eligibility.
  • Master’s Programs: Based on Performance in Qualifying Examinations; and GATE/CEED Score, Portfolio of Work/ Thesis/ Project, etc., Statement of Purposes (description of the interest and motivation for the chosen study) & Work Experience, if any, after attaining the eligibility qualification.
  • PhD Programs: Based on written test & Interview.

 

PG Scholarships

  • The scholarships to GATE and CEED (applicable only for Industrial Design course) qualified candidates will be paid to those who have a valid Score Card.
