Eligibility Criteria for SPA Delhi Admission 2021

Program Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor Programmes Intermediate /10+2 with JEE (Main) 2021 by NTA (National Testing Agency) score.
M.Arch (Architectural Conservation & Urban Design) Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Planning from a recognized university or equivalent.
Master of Design (Industrial Design) Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture of a recognized university or equivalent or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Design/Fine Arts of a recognized university or equivalent with valid CEED score (essential for non-architectural candidates) from approved streams.
Master of Building Engineering & Management Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Engineering or Architecture or Architectural Engineering or Building Science or Five Year Diploma in Construction Technology or equivalent from a recognized university/institution established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature.
Master of Architecture (Landscape Architecture) Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture or Planning or Master’s Degree in Planning or equivalent post-Graduate diploma of a recognized university/institution or certificate of completion of Pre-Landscape Architecture Course of the SPA, New Delhi.
Master of Planning (Environmental Planning) Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Master’s Degree in Geography or Economics or Sociology or Environmental Science or Environmental Management of a recognized university or equivalent.
Master of Planning (Housing) Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Master’s Degree in Geography or Economics or Sociology or Environmental Science or Environmental Management of a recognized university or equivalent.
Master of Planning (Regional Planning & Urban Planning) Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or M.A.Geography, Economics, or Sociology from a recognized university or equivalent.
Master of Planning (Transport Planning) Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent or Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Operational Research/ Economics from a recognized university or equivalent.

  • Candidates whose final year results are still awaited can also apply but must submit the final marks by 1 August 2021, failing which the admission will stand cancelled.

SPA Delhi Admission 2021 Application Process

  • Eligible candidates can apply online only through the official website http://spa.ac.in/
  • Eligible candidates may submit a filled-in Application Form through a link provided on School’s website www.spa.ac.in along with requisite self-attested documents at spadpgadmn2021@spa.ac.in.
  • Candidates seeking admission to be required to submit an online application. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • An applicant can apply for a single program only. Application fee for PG program is Rs.2,500 (Non Refundable) for Indian Nationals and US$ 300 (Non-Refundable) for Foreign National/NRI/PIO/OCI to be paid by online 1. Through the website of SPA, New Delhi <www.spa.ac.in>, 2. Through SBI Collect. The School reserves the right to reject/cancel any application without assigning any reason to the applicant

Selection Process

Bachelor Programs Admission to Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning will be made through JEE (Main) 2021 by NTA (National Testing Agency)
Integrated Master of Planning Students (15 seats) admitted to the Bachelor of Planning programme of the School can opt for 5 year Integrated Masters of Planning Programme after VII semester subject to eligibility.
Master’s Programs Based on Performance in Qualifying Examinations; and GATE/CEED Score, Portfolio of Work/ Thesis/ Project, etc., Statement of Purposes (description of the interest and motivation for the chosen study) & Work Experience, if any, after attaining the eligibility qualification.
PhD Programs Based on written test & Interview.

PG Scholarships

  • The scholarships to GATE and CEED (applicable only for Industrial Design course) qualified candidates will be paid to those who have a valid Score Card.
