DME Hyderabad GNM Admission 2023 – Online Applications from the eligible male & female candidates are invited for admission into 1st year of 3 years General Nursing and Midwifery Course for the academic year 2023-2024 batch which is being imparted in the (6) (Six) Government Schools of Nursing

Important Dates
- The online registration starts from 02.09.2023 to 16.09.2023
- Last date for submission of downloaded applications to the concerned authorities
- for both Private & Govt. Schools is 19.09.2023
- The downloaded applications for Government quota and Management quota: 21.09.2023
- Selection process should be complete in Government schools by 04.10.2023
- The selection lists should submit to the DME.T.S.,Hyderabad on or before 13.10.2023
Eligibility Criteria
- 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying exam and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by the State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the School recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream – Health care science from a recognized CBSE board / State / Centre
- Registered ANM with pass marks
For Foreign Nationals
- The entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, State Nursing Council will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed as above.
Application Procedure
- Online admission Application form is available in the Director of Medical Education, T.S., Hyderabad official website and the same is available from 02.09.2023 to 16.09.2023
- Follow the below given steps for submission of online GNM Admission application.
- Note: A separate application along with separate challan has to be submitted if a candidate intends to apply to more than one institute.
- Step: 1: Pay registration fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred only) through a Government challan crediting to the following
- Head of Account: 0210 – Medical & Public Health
- 03 – Medical Education Training & Research MH
- 105 – Allopathy SH (81) – Other receipts
- 001 – Other receipts at State Bank of India at respective places

- Step: 2: Log on to DME Official Website i.e., http://dme.telangana.gov.in for online application form. Fill up all the mandatory fields (*) as per the instructions given in the online application and press submit button.
Selection Process
- Every Superintendent will be provided with User ID & Password for verification of On-line applications received by them.
- After selection of the candidates, they have to indicate the selected candidates online.
- Only downloaded online filled in applications along with Registration Fee and relevant enclosures have to be accepted.
- Selections will be made purely on merit, on the basis of aggregate marks Obtained by the Candidates in the group subjects, excluding languages
- In deciding merit candidates who qualify under compartmental system will be placed after candidates who passed in a single attempt.
