20014- 2020:
- Kriti Sanon made her acting debut in the year 2014 in the Telugu film Nenokkadine, a psychological action thriller. She played the love interest of Mahesh Babu’s character in the film.
- Her character had a bunch of action sequences which were filmed at the sea. She later revealed in interviews that since she was new to acting, this coupled with unfamiliarity with such experience made her nervous when filming these scenes.
- Critics and reviewers from The Times of India praised her acting, performance and took note of her beauty.
- Upon the completion of the first schedule of her debut film Sanon got signed on for Heropanti, a Hindi action film opposite Tiger Shroff, a newcomer in the industry himself.
