PNB Full Form – What is the Full form of PNB? 

 
PNB Full Form – Punjab National Bank or PBX is an Indian Nationalised Bank headquartered at New Delhi, Delhi the capital city of India. It is a PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) regulated by the Ministry of Finance of the Government of India and RBI, the Reserve Bank of India. It is the second largest public Indian bank in terms of volume and network. It was founded on 19th May, 1894 by Dyal Singh Majithia and Lala Lajpat Rai. PNB has a banking subsidiary in the United Kingdom and branches in many countries like the UK, Hong Kong, Dubai, etc. PNB is known as PNB International Bank in the foreign countries. The Bank has representative offices in Dubai, Shanghai, Almaty, Oslo and Sydney. PNB has connections with several banks – Druk PNB in Bhutan, Everest Bank in Nepal and JSC or SB PNB in Kazakhstan. PNB has had two fraud cases – Punjab National Bank Fraud Case 2018 and Punjab National Bank Fraud Case 2019. PNB was amalgamated with the Oriental Bank of Commerce and the United Bank of India on 30th August, 2019 and this was announced by our current Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The bank has also participated in corporate social activities by incurring financial support to a better cause.
