PG Full Form, What is the Full form of PG ?

The Full form of PG is Post Graduate. In the field of Medicine, MD is considered as a PG degree in the field of medicine. MD stands for “Doctor of Medicine, it is a 3 year PG degree awarded for a course in the field of medicine after completing MBBS. This PG degree is awarded after three years of training in subjects having non surgical nature. As MD is a Post Graduation (PG) degree, so candidates should obtain MBBS degree to apply for this course. Doctors who have completed MD can easily find suitable jobs in both public and private sector. Doctors having MD can apply for various jobs in government sector also. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting many exams every year for recruiting these doctors in various government organizations.
