NEFTU Full Form
The Full form of NEFTU is North East Frontier Technical University. NEFTU was established under the UGC Act 1956 through The North East Frontier Technical University Act, 2014, by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh legislative, vide notification number LAW/LEGN-9/2014, in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh in 2014. The University is located in Aalo, West Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh, India. NEFTU got affiliations from University Grants Commission (UGC), Bar Council Of India, NCTE, Pharmacy Council Of India. University Grants Commission of India (UGC India) is a statutory body set up by the Indian Union government in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education. The Dileep K Nair has been appointed as the first chancellor of North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU) at Aalo in West Siang district.
