The full form of LASER is Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. It is a type of electromagnetic device that is capable of producing light which is actually an Electromagnetic Radiation. These lights are coherent as well as very thin. They are generated through a process called optical amplification. Albert Einstein was the first person to talk about LASER process. However, the device was fully developed by Theodore H. Maiman in 1960. LASER is used to develop barcode readers, CD ROMs, etc. These are also used to develop the Printing machines; to develop military devices such as laser guns, anti-missile devices; Medical treatments such as Cosmetic, Surgical treatments; at Nuclear Fission Reactors.
