The full form of ICC is International Cricket Council. It is the cricket body that governs all the cricket organisations across the globe. It is in charge of making rules and regulations of the game of cricket and ensures that they are being followed. It also appoints the referees and umpires. Currently 104 countries with official cricket bodies are members of ICC. Out of these 12 are full time members that are authorised to play test matches. The rest 92 are associate members. It also organises famous cricket events such as ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, etc.for both men and women team. It was formed in 1909 and its HQ is in Dubai (UAE).
