The Full form of DLF is Delhi Land and Finance. DLF is one of the largest commercial and residential real estate developers in India. The company was founded in 1946 by Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh. It is headquartered in New Delhi, India. DLF develops many residential colonies in Delhi such as Krishna Nagar, South Extension, Shivaji Park, Rajouri Garden, Greater Kailash, and Haus Khas etc. DLF deals in various types of projects, such as Commercial buildings, IT Parks and SEZ (Special Economic Zone), Residential Flats and Apartments, Residential Towers, Bridges and Towers, Shopping Malls and Retails Homes etc.

 

The company was developed its first residential colony in Krishna Nagar, East Delhi and the construction was completed in the year 1949. It was a big success for the company and got the belief of the people. After the huge success of the project, DLF has completed many projects in Delhi like Kailash colony, South Delhi, Greater Kailash etc. Currently, the company is headed by Kushal Pal Singh. He was ranked 98th richest man in the world according to the Forbes list of richest billionaires in 2009. DLF has about 25 million sq feet of leased office space spread across Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurgaon, Kolkata, and Chandigarh. It generates around Rs 1950 crore profit every year.
