CEO Full Form
The Full form of CEO is Chief Executive Officer. CEO refers to the highest position in an organization or company who looks after overall management and administration. In other words, CEO is the senior most executive or corporate officer or administrator who is responsible for managing the entire organization and its profits.
The CEO of a corporation or company directly reports to the Board of Directors or Chairman. He is responsible to make changes by applying policies and motivating the employees. To become a CEO, a lot of hard work, experience and business networking is needed. A lot of responsibilities are set by the Company’s chairman or board of directors for the CEO.
Some of them are making major corporate decisions, healthy working environment, motivating the employees of the organization, making change in policies and strategy, leading all the operations of the organization, oversees fund raising planning and execution, overseeing the production, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of products and services, recommending annual budget and wisely manages resources of the organization, assuring the products or services of the organization are in line with the vision and mission of the organization.
There is not a specific educational qualification to become a CEO of an organization. This is a top most post and being appointed by the board of directors of an organization; but it is seen that most of the CEO’s have a MDA or a technical degree.
