Application Process for women candidates to appear for UPSC NDA Exam 2021 begins

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has begun the application process for women candidates to appear for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA/NA) II 2021 Exam from September 24, 2021. Women candidates who want to join NDA and Indian Naval Academy courses (INAC) can apply through the official website: www.upsc.gov.in or https://upsconline.nic.in. The last date to apply for the same is October 8, 2021. Only unmarried women candidates are allowed for apply for the posts. There is no application fee for the women candidates to appear for UPSC NDA Exam 2021

The NDA NA (II) 2021 Examination is scheduled to be held on November 14, 2021 to fill up 370 posts in the National Defence Academy and 30 posts in the Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme). The decision to allow women to appear for NDA and NA Exam 2021 has been taken after the Supreme Court ruled out the exemption of women candidates in the November 14, 2021 exam

Steps to Apply UPSC NDA & NA (II) Exam 2021

  • Go to the official website-upsconline.nic.in.
  • Click on the link that reads, “National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 – Only for Women Candidates.”
  • A new window would open up. 
  • Enter all the required details for filling up the form and click on continue
  • Select your examination centre
  • Upload the required documents and submit

The written examination will be held for two subjects – Mathematics and General Ability Test. Both papers will be of two and half hours. Mathematics paper will be of 300 marks and General Ability Test will be of 600 marks.

NDA NA Exam is an examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).
