Final Result of UPSC Civil Services Exam 2020 announced

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result of UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020. All those candidates who had appeared for the UPSC CSE 2020 examination can check their result or provisional appointment list from the official website-upsc.gov.in. 

The UPSC Civil Services 2020 preliminary exam was conducted in October 2020 and the main exam was conducted from January 8 to January 17, 2021. The interview round was held from August 2 to September 22.  The interview round was first scheduled for May but was deferred due to the second wave of COVID19

Steps to check UPSC Civil Services 2020 Final Result

  • Visit the official website upsc.gov.in
  • On the home page click on the link which reads, “UPSC Civil Services Final Result 2020”
  • Enter your roll number 
  • Your UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020 result will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a print of the for future reference 

As per the result Shubham Kumar has topped the examinations followed by Jagrati Awasthi and Ankita Jain have secured second and third rank respectively.  

A total of 761 candidates have been recommended for Indian Administrative Service (IAS); Indian Foreign Service (IFS); Indian Police Service (IPS); and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’. Out of the 761 candidates, 541 men and 216 women candidates has cleared the exam. Along with the list of selected candidates, the list of 151 candidates with provisional allotment has also been released.
