Detailed Application Form (DAF- I) for the Civil Services Main Exam 2021 released by UPSC

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the detailed application form (DAF-I) for Civil Services 2021 Main Exam on the official website. All those candidates who have qualified the Civil Services Preliminary examination 2021 can visit the official website upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in to fill the application form.

The Detailed Application Form (DAF) will be available till December 1, 2021 (6:00 pm). The UPSC Civil Services 2021 Main Exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 7, 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16, 2022. The detailed examination schedule will be made available on the commission’s official website later.

 

How to fill the DAF for Civil Services 2021 Main Exam

  • Visit the official website upsc.gov.in
  • Click on the UPSC DAF Main form on the homepage
  • You would be redirected to a new page
  • Fill the registration form 1 and proceed to Application form 2
  • Complete the details required and submit
  • Save a copy for future reference

 

As per the official notification released by the Commission, ‘for the Main Examination, a Candidate shall be required to submit on-line Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) along with scanned documents/certificates in support of date of birth, category [viz. SC/ST/OBC (without OBC Annexure)/EWS [Economically Weaker Section] (without EWS Annexure)/ PwBD/ Ex-Serviceman) and educational qualification with required Examination Fee.’

The exam would be conducted only in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram and Vijayawada.

The commission has also allowed the candidates to change the choice of examination centre as a one-time opportunity. They can make the changes while filling the UPSC Civil Services 2021 Mains DAF.
