Amid Rise in COVID-19 cases Students demand to cancel Class 10, 12 Term 2 Board Exams

 

As a surge in COVID-19 cases has been observed in the country, students who are expected to sit for the term 2 board exam have taken to their respective social media handles with their demands for cancelling the board exam. 

 

One of the student tweeted, “India has once again started reporting a surge in covid 19 cases in that case irresponsible to hold CBSE board exams. Students’ lives matter”. 

 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the term 2 board exam for class 10 and 12 will commence from 26th April, 2022. The examination will continue till 24th May, 2022 for class 10 and for class 12 exams will conclude on 15th June,2022. It is mandatory for the students who appeared in the term 1 board exam to sit for the term 2 exam.

The admit card for class 10 and 12 term 2 board exam has already been released by Central Board of Secondary Education, on their official website https://www.cbse.gov.in/  on April 13, 2022 along with exam guidelines. The schools will be able to download their admit cards from the official website. Students will have to collect the admit card from their respective schools. Admit cards for the private candidates are also available on the official website of cbse board. 

 

The CBSE term 2 examination for class 10 and 12 is expected to be conducted at various exam centres all over India, but the COVID-19 protocols will be maintained at its best during conducting the examination.
