Application Process for SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Examination 2020 begins

Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Examination 2020. The application process for SSC CHSL 2020 began on November 6, 2020 and will continue till December 15, 2020. The last date for making online fee payment is December 17, 2020 (up to 11:30 pm). 

 All those candidates who are interested and are eligible for the exam can apply for the same through online mode at SSC official website i.e. ssc.nic.in. 

The application fee for unreserved category is Rs. 100/- and women applicants, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee

Steps to Apply for SSC CHSL 2020 Exam

  • Visit the official website, ssc.nic.in
  • On the homepage, register using email id
  • Click on ‘apply’ in the main tab
  • You will be redirected to a new page
  • Click on CHSL and click on ‘apply’
  • Fill form, upload documents
  • Make payment

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India. The Selection to these posts are done on the basis of a computer-based test (Tier-I), descriptive paper (Tier-II, and skill/ typing test.

SSC CHSL Tier-I examination will be conducted in online mode (Computer based) from April 12 to 27, 2021 at various centres across the country. Candidates who will qualify the Tier I exam will be eligible to appear for the Tier-II exam (Descriptive Paper). Date of Tier-II Examination will be announced later by the commission.
