Revised exam date for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2021 announced
Govind Singh Dotasra, Education Minister for the state has announced the revised exam date for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) 2021. As per the notice REET 2021 will now be conducted on September 26, 2021. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on June 20, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The state’s level Teacher Eligibility Test which was announced in 2019 has been postponed 6 times
The applications window for the economically weaker section, EWS candidates, would be reopened from June 21, 2021.
Taking to his twitter account, Dotasra wrote, “It has been decided to conduct the exam on 26th September. Applications for EWS candidates will be accepted from June 21 to July 5. Very soon, the board of secondary education will release the revised press release.”
Interested candidates can visit the website- rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. to apply for REET 2021.
Candidates applying for Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5) must have qualified 10+2 with at least 50% marks and also have done 2-year D.EL.ED (Diploma in Elementary Education). Those who are in their final year of D.EL.ED can also apply for the examination. Candidates applying for Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8) should be Graduate with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
