Exam date of Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2021 postponed
Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has postponed the exam date for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2021. As per the notification released, the REET 2021 will now be held on June 20, 2021. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on April 25, 2021.
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashhok Gehlot announced during the budget session that the main reason behind rescheduling the REET exam date 2021 is to provide chance to EWS people. The RBSE Director, D P Jaroli has said that the REET 2021 application for EWS classes will begin soon.
Earlier, Jain community had also asked for the postponement of the REET exam due to Mahavir Jayanti on April 25, 2021.
REET 2021 exam will be held in two sessions, Paper 1 for those appearing for class 1 to 5 teacher’s positions and Paper 2 for class 6 to 8. 32000 vacancies of various posts of Grade 3 teachers will be filled through REET 2021.
