UGC NET 2022 December Exam upper age limit for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Fixed by NTA
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important notice regarding upper age limit for UGC NET December 2022 candidates. As per the notice issued by NTA on January 5, 2023, the last date to consider the upper age limit for the post of Junior Research Fellowship, JRF for the UGC NET 2022 December Exam is December 1, 2022.
The official notice issued by the agency reads, “The NET Bureau of UGC (vide Letter No.4-1/2019(NET/NTA) dated 02 January 2023) has requested NTA to fix the upper age limit for applying for JRF as 01.12.2022 instead of 01.02.2023. Accordingly, the National Testing Agency has decided the last date for determining the upper age limit for applying JRF is 01.12.2022 for December 2022 UGC-NET.”
UGC NET 2022 December registrations process is currently underway and will conclude on January 17, 2023. Interested candidates can visit the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in to apply for the same. UGC NET 2022 December exam is scheduled to be held from February 21 to March 10, 2023. The admit card for the same is expected to released in the second week of February 2023.
National Testing Agency has also confirmed the UGC NET 2023 Exam date for the June Session. As per this, the UGC NET 2023 June Exam will be held from June 13 to 22, 2023. UGC Chairman on December 30, 2022 has announced these dates.
