NLSIU Bangalore to conduct National Law Aptitude Test (NLAT) for Admission to BA LLB program for academic session 2020-21

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore has announced to conduct National Law Aptitude Test (NLAT) 2020 for admission to five years integrated B.A LL.B (Hons) Program for the Academic session 2020-21.  As per the notification the University has decided not to accept CLAT 2020 Scores for Admission in Academic year 2020-21. 

The varsity has taken the decision because of repeated postponement of CLAT 2020 Examination. CLAT 2020 has been postponed from September 7 to September 28, 2020

“The University will not accept CLAT 2020 scores for admission to Academic Year 2020-21.” The decision has been taken because of the repeated postponement of the CLAT 2020 examination. “If NLSIU is unable to complete admissions before the end of September 2020 it will inevitably result in a ‘Zero Year’ with no admission,” reads the notice

The varsity will be conducting the National Law Aptitude Test (NLAT) UG 2020 Entrance examination on September 12, 2020 in an online mode. The online registration process for the same has begun from September 3, 2020, and will conclude on September 10, 2020. 

Candidates who wish to apply for the same can visit the official website of NLSIU i.e. nls.ac.in or admissions.nls.ac.in 

Candidates with an aggregate percentage of 45% (40% in the case of SC/ST) or its equivalent grade in class 12 examination are eligible to apply for NLAT 2020. 

Candidates also need to pay an application fee of Rs 150/- (General category) and Rs 125 (SC/ST category) for registration.
