NIOS Class 10, 12 board exam dates rescheduled

NIOS revised Class 10 and 12 board exam – Board exams of class 10,12 which are to be conducted by NIOS in the month of April-May 2019 have been rescheduled due to the coinciding of some exams with the General Election dates.

As per the statement issued by chairman of NIOS Chandra Bhushan Sharma ”We did not wish to postpone the entire exam as it would have delayed the results. To ensure the results are announced on time, We are just changing the dates for some exams which are clashing with poll dates. A revised time table will be put up on the site for students.”

According to Mr. Sharma  around 3.75 lakh students will be appearing for the NIOS exams through the centres which are mostly the CBSE schools

As most of the CBSE schools will be used as the polling booth so it will become difficult to conduct exam on the polling dates.

Candidates can download the admit card from the official website

The statement given by the NIOS states that” “The result of examination is likely to be declared in 6 weeks after the last date of the examination. No enquiries about the actual date of declaration of result will be entertained. A copy of the relevant portion of the result will be communicated to the Accredited Institutions immediately after declaration of results and will also be available on NIOS website wwwnios.ac.in,”
