National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences postponed NEET MDS Exam 2022
NEET MDS 2022 – National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released an official notice to inform about the postponement of NEET MDS 2022 Exam which was scheduled to be conducted on March 6, 2022. NBEMS has also informed about the extended deadline for the completion of internship. The revised schedule for conduct of NEET-MDS 2022 shall be announced shortly on NBEMS website.
The date of completion of compulsory rotating internship for eligibility for admission to MDS courses has been fixed at 31st July instead of 31st March.
The official notice reads, Pursuant to the directions of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Govt. of India vide its letter no. F. No. Z-28011/68/2021-MEC/DE dated 17.02.2022, the conduct of NEET MDS – 2022 examination which was earlier notified to be held on 6th March 2022 stands rescheduled. The MoHFW, Govt of India has decided to extend the cut-off date for completion of internship for the purpose of eligibility for NEET-MDS 2022 to 31.07.2022.”
It also mentioned that the online application window for submission of applications for NEET-MDS 2022 which has been closed on 24th January 2022 shall now be reopened in due course.
