Exam Date for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2021

The Council of Architecture (CoA) has announced the exam date for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2021 for both tests. As per a report, NATA 2021 exam date for test 1 is April 10 while NATA test 2 will be conducted on June 12, 2021. The official brochure of NATA 2021 will be released soon by the council. 

National Aptitude Test in Architecture or NATA examination is conducted twice every year by the Council of Architecture for admission to the 1st year of 5-year B.Arch course offered by various institutes across the country.

NATA 2021 exam will be conducted through online mode and part two will be based on a drawing test (pen paper based). Exam will comprise of two sections, i.e. Aptitude Section & Drawing Section. Exam is specially designed to assess the drawing and observation skills of the candidates. Other abilities to be checked are the sense of proportion and aesthetic sensitivity. The question paper will also consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 level. Total duration of the exam is 3 hours (60 minutes for the aptitude section and 120 minutes for the drawing section). There will be no negative marking in the exam.

To appear in the exam, candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent exam with Mathematics as one of their main subjects.
