Maharashtra to conduct MHT CET 2020 from 1 to 15 October
Maharashtra Department of Higher and Technical Education will be conducting the Maharashtra CET 2020 in October. The state higher and technical education minister Uday Samant has confirmed that the Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2020 exam would be conducted between October 1 to 15, 2020 in the state. The revised schedule will be soon available on the official website
The exam will be conducted in phase’s manner, starting with the one for engineering, followed by others. Education minister Samant also said that, “The time-table will be declared after thorough consultation with concerned authorities. The safety and health of students will be considered as priority.”
The test was earlier scheduled to be conducted from April 13-23, and then rescheduled to begin from July 4 in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted for admission to professional courses offered by the colleges in the state of Maharashtra. Over 5,32,361 students have registered for the Maharashtra CET (MHT CET) 2020
