4 Medical Colleges of Odisha got approval for MCI for Admission

MCI approves Admission in 4 Medical Colleges of Odisha  – The Medical Council of India (MCI) has granted permission for admission to undergraduate medical course in four different colleges of the state  of Odisha for the academic session 2019-20.

 

Naba Kishore Das, the health and family welfare minister of Odisha informed on Friday that MCI has allowed admission to MBBS course in four different government medical colleges in Odish for the current academic session 2019 -20.  He also informed that 100 seats have been allotted to each.

 

The MCI has allowed admission to 100 seats of MBBS in Fakir Mohan Medical College and hospital (Balasore), Bhima Bhoi Medical College and hospital (Balangir), Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and hospital (Mayurbhanj) and Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College and Hospital (Koraput).

 

The Health and Family minister also said that, the permissions are valid for one year and next batch of students will be admitted in the colleges after renewal of permissions by the MCI Next year,

 

With the approval to 4 more Medical colleges in Odisha, the total number of medical seats in the seven government medical colleges in Odisha has gone up to 1150.
