NEET PG 2022 Aspirants demand Postponement of exam

Aspirants of the NEET PG 2022 examination have been requesting a delay of the exam for a certain period of time. But the NTA (National Testing Agency) is likely to hold the exam as per the scheduled date of May 21, 2022, according to a meeting held on April 30, 2022, where Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya was also among the attendees.

On the other hand, FAIMA (Federation of All India Medical Association) has also joined the call to ask for a delay in the NEET PG 2022 examination. The main reason behind the aspirants demanding for the delay of the exam is due to the delay in NEET PG 2022 counselling, and less gap between entrance exam and counselling.

The NEET PG 2022 counselling process was put on hold due to a case lodged in the Supreme Court regarding the reservation of the OBC candidates in NEET UG and PG examination, and the counselling process finally resumed on 12th January, 2022. This much delay had cost the lack of time for the aspiring students of  NEET PG 2022.

CBSE Board will not give a second chance to the students who miss two phases of the board exam

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, CBSE had introduced the termwise board exam, where the students had to appear for 2 term exams, and the result was made on the basis of their performance in both Term 1 and Term 2. The CBSE board has clearly announced that the students who failed to appear or pass in both the term exams, will not get a third chance. These students will not be allowed to sit in the compartment exams. Such students will have to repeat the same class again and will have to appear in the board exam held in the next academic session.

The CBSE has also declared that from the next time onwards, the termwise division on board exams will not be made and the students will have to appear for only one board exam of their academic session. However, the term 2 exams of class 10 and 12 are ongoing. Class 10 term 2 exams will end on May 24, and the class 12 term 2 exams will continue till June 15. But due to the increasing number of covid cases, the question arises, what would happen to the students who could not sit for the term 2 exam due to falling victim to Corona? The CBSE board has assured such students by saying that if a student has appeared for the one phase of the exam, but could not appear for the second phase due to Corona, the evaluation of such students will be made through some special methods. They will be given special choices and won’t have to essentially repeat the same class again.
