Revised Exam Date of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Exam 2021 released
KVPY Exam – Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru, the exam conducting body Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) 2021 has released the revised exam date for the examination. As per the official notification the KVPY 2021 exam will now be conducted on May 22, 2022. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted on January 9, 2022 but was postponed by officials due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Admit card for the same will be released soon on the official website.
The KVPY is a National Program of Fellowship initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India to encourage the students who are studying Basic Sciences to take up research careers in Science.
KVPY provides annual contingency grant to students with upto Rs 20,000 to graduate students and Rs 28,000 to postgraduate students. The monthly stipend for graduate students is Rs 5000 and for postgraduate students is Rs 7000
KVPY 2022 question paper will include questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects for 100 marks. The duration of the examination is 3 hours. KVPY question paper will have 2 parts. Part 1 questions will carry 1 mark each and Part 2 questions will carry 2 marks each. There is a negative marking of 0.5 mark for each wrong attempt.
