Exam Date for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) 2021 announced
KVPY Exam 2021 – Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru, has announced the exam date for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) 2021. As per the notification on the official website, the Aptitude test will now be held on January 9, 2022. More details are available on the official website – kvpy.iisc.ernet.in.
The examination was earlier scheduled to be held on November 7, 2021 but got postponed as Madras HC had stayed the conduct of exam over regional language concerns.
The official notification reads, “This is for the information to all those candidates who have registered and paid the fees for the KVPY Aptitude test-2021. The KVPY Aptitude test will now be held on 9th January 2022.”
Madras HC had approved the conduct of KVPY Exam 2021 in Hindi and English language this year on the condition that there will be a prompt commitment from the government to conduct the exam in regional languages in the coming years. The decision was announced after considering the practical difficulties that might arise if the exam process was revamped for this year.
