JNVST 2020 Class 6 Entrance Exam postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Samiti has postponed the Selection Test (JNVST) 2020 Second Phase which was scheduled to be conducted on April 11, 2020 for admission to class 6 for Winter-bound JNVs due to lockdown imposed to curb the spread of deadly coronavirus. The revised schedule will be announced later
The official notice reads, “Class VI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, 2020 (JNVST 2020) scheduled to be held on 11th April, 2020 in respect of Winter Bound JNVs is postponed due to Administrative reason. Rescheduled date will be communicated.”
The JNV Selection Test is held in two phases. The phases are different for different regions. The first phase was held on January 11, 2020. The second phase which was to be held for the states of Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, in UT of Jammu and Kashmir, in the Districts of Dibang Valley and Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh, in the Districts of Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla of Himachal Pradesh and in the District of Darjeeling of West Bengal has been postponed.
The JNVST is held in English, Hindi and the regional languages of each state respectively.
