IGNOU announces Admission to newly launched Certificate Course in Gender, Agriculture, Sustainable Development (CGAS) for January 2021 session
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) announced the launch of a new certificate course in Gender, Agriculture and Sustainable Development (CGAS) under the open distance learning mode for January 2021 cycle.
Students interested to take admission in Certificate Program in Gender, Agriculture and Sustainable Development can apply online at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Applicants will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 200 and course charges of Rs 3800. The last date to apply is March 15, 2021.
The objective of this new program is to create awareness about gender roles and typology of issues in sustainable agriculture, to provide the knowledge on sustainable development in relation with gender and agriculture and to build capacities in gender research in agriculture.
The duration of the course is six-month and the course is available only in English language. The program has been launched as part of the Samarth courses managed by the Centre for Online Education. Candidates graduate in any stream from a government recognized institute is eligible to apply for this course.
IGNOU has started various other online courses such as PG Diploma In Corporate Social Responsibility, MSc In Environmental Science and Value Education Program from January 2021 session.
