IGNOU Postpones June 2020 Term End Exam till September
Indira Gandhi National Open University has released a notification to inform about the postponement of IGNOU June 2020 TEE. The term-end examination will now be conducted in the first week of September for final year students of Bachelor’s Master’s, Post Graduate Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programs.
Apart from this, the last date to submit assignments and exam form has been extended till July 31, 2020 without any late fee. Earlier the last date was July 15, 2020. Candidates can submit their assignments through email or offline by physical submission at study centers. Project reports and other components can be submitted online through an online software link available at the homepage of the University’s website.
The June 2020 TEE has been delayed this year due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
IGNOU is likely to adopt alternative and simplified modes of examinations for the final year exams for the students as per the UGC Guidelines released earlier in the month. The varsity may choose to use online, MCQ, OMR based papers, Open Book Exams, Open Choices, Assignment/Presentations based assessment to evaluate the performance of the students. The Final decision on the same is yet to be decided by IGNOU.
